The Cinemira International Children’s and Youth Film Festival will take place this year between October 17–19 at the Marczibányi Square Cultural Center (Cinemira KIDS) and Cinema City Mammut 1 (Cinemira YOUTH). Members of the press may apply for accreditation for both events using the form below.

We offer a limited number of interview opportunities with the festival’s guests and ambassadors (Nóra Lakos, Anna Kelen, Lia Pokorny, Réka Tenki, Kristóf Deák, and Réka Farkasházi). Interview requests can also be indicated at the end of the press accreditation form.

Nearly eighty animated and live-action short films will compete for the Golden Squirrel Award. The festival will host the Hungarian premiere of The Amazed Face, which premiered in Cannes and won the Grand Prix at Annecy, as well as exclusive screenings such as Michel Gondry’s Please, Maya, Give Me a Title! (not released in Hungary) and Hello Frida, a vibrant animated film exploring the childhood of Frida Kahlo.

Across both festival venues, visitors can enjoy a wide range of interactive programs, including a stunt show, a nature photography workshop, a music video-making workshop, and a film animal demonstration. Distinguished directors and child actors will also participate in a panel discussion revealing the behind-the-scenes secrets of children acting in films.

Services for accredited journalists and film professionals include:

Free entry and tickets for all screenings – For accredited journalists and film professionals, Cinemira YOUTH provides tickets for all film screenings each day, entry for the receptions.

Videobox – Entry to the Screening Room, where all festival films can be viewed with Videobox.
