The Cinemira YOUTH International Youth Film Festival will hold its unique Cinemira YOUTH Student Film Day and Higher Education Fair for Hungarian secondary school students on December 17 at the CORVIN Cinema (Corvin köz 1, District VIII).

The Cinemira YOUTH International Youth Film Festival is once again organizing its special selection of award-winning short films for secondary school students, along with the Film Higher Education Fair held in conjunction with the screening.

AWARD-WINNING SHORT FILMS

We have put together a special, thought-provoking international short film programme. The selection consists of 43 minutes of youth short films featured at the Cinemira YOUTH Film Festival.

The films sensitively, creatively, and often humorously explore topics relevant to young people’s everyday lives, offering guidance on themes such as first love, facing expectations in sports and performance, beliefs around physical training, and the wonderful friendship between a dog and a young boy. The films provide an excellent opportunity for further group discussion, helping with reflection and deepening the experience — and can be easily incorporated into classroom activities.

FILM HIGHER EDUCATION FAIR

Cinemira uniquely organizes a fair specifically for higher education institutions offering film and media programmes. At the venue, universities and academies providing film-related training will present themselves at their stands, giving interested students the chance — before or after the screening — to learn first-hand about opportunities in film studies, available programmes, admission requirements, and application details.

Invited universities and institutions include: ELTE Department of Film Studies, MOME, Metropolitan University, SZFE, PPKE Institute of Communication and Media Studies, freeSZFE, Werk Academy, Lumiere Film School, NFI Career Orientation Programme, Cinemira Children’s Film Academy.

We reserve the right to make changes to the list of participating institutions.
